Guest Boating & Fishing
A complimentary rowboat is included with each accommodation. Canoes and paddleboats are also available for a nominal fee. If you have your own kayak, canoe or small sailboat (up to 14’), bring it with you to use on the lake.
Freshwater anglers will be pleased to find our sparkling lake well stocked with trout and bass. Boating and fishing hours are from dawn to dusk, April through November, weather permitting. Fishing licenses are not required.
Bring your own fishing gear or get a few last minute pieces of bait and tackle at our shop in Guest Services. We also rent trolling motors for our boats. To preserve the peace and quiet, gas powered motors are not permitted on the lake.
Boat occupancy is limited to three persons with a 600-pound maximum. Pennsylvania law requires life jackets for all boat occupants. Life jackets are available through Guest Services.
To protect the ecology of our lake, no live minnows are permitted from outside sources. Minnow traps are also available through Guest Services.
Boating activities are allowed only when the weather permits; check with Guest Services for the latest boating forecast.
