The Lake

Our private mile-long mountain lake is the highlight of any stay at The Resort. Spend all day by the lakeshore, relaxing at the beach, swimming, or exploring the water from your rowboat. Bring poles for a relaxing catch-and-release session, as we stock the lake every summer. In the winter, lace up your skates and take a turn. Welcome to life by the lake.

Beaches

Spend your days on the sand at not one–but two lakefront beaches. When you get tired of one, simply row to the other! East Lake and West Lake beaches offer lake chairs and play areas including swings, horseshoes, badminton and volleyball. Game equipment can be picked up from Guest Services for free.

The Nature Trail

Be surrounded by forests, mossy paths, babbling brooks and the magic of The Poconos in our resort nature trail. Find a cozy place to read in the sun or pack a pair of cross-country skis for snowy explorations. The trail circles the lake, and it’s a popular pick for morning jogs, sunset walks and forest bathing.

“My friends and I rented a Hemlock cabin for a wedding over the weekend. What an awesome time! The location is absolutely gorgeous. We took a stroll around the lake and it was just perfect. The cabin was large and perfect for everyone to get ready and hangout in. The complimentary row boat was awesome.”

“Third Time was a Charm (as were the First and Second Stays)
This place is an absolute gem among the many has-been and somewhat disappointing resorts in the Poconos. It retains its rustic charm well while still having the luxurious touches you'd expect at the price point. We've stayed in the cabins and in the new suites, and both are exemplary among their peers in the Poconos. The suites have showers you'd expect to see at the St. Regis or the Four Seasons as well as lovely fireplaces. The cabins have their own docks with rowboats and truly feel like a quiet lake retreat that is increasingly hard to find. The nature trail is great for hiking and running, and the beaches are fun with playground equipment (that even adults can use).”

“Absolute Gem
Stayed in one of the Hill Suites for two. Such a beautiful room. Impeccably clean. Excellent luxuries. Even had a Nespresso Vertuo machine with a variety of coffee capsules provided. Quiet with nice views. Huge shower and also a tub with jets. Gas fireplace was great for a cold day.
Want to come back in the warmer weather for walks on the expansive property and time on the lake with the provided boats. Nice front and back porches as well with Adirondack chairs.

Perfect for a quiet getaway. You will not be disappointed”
